From the minute you arrive in the snow covered town of Villars-sur-Ollon, it feels like you are in a fairytale story! The hotel is very old but absolutely picturesque – straight from the 1920’s it felt! Helpful staff, friendly and speaking array of languages, loads of food and drinks and a wonderful outside heated swimming pool to enjoy after a long day of skiing. The food was ok – what you would expect from buffet styles, but the coffee was excellent and chocolate at every meal! Do try the cheese fondue evening – well worth it! Good apre ski in the afternoon and walking distance to the little town if you want to go and get proper swiss hot chocolate. The skiing was excellent – the Swiss ski school is great and everything is included – private ski instructor, lessons and ski passes. We had fantastic snowfall and fresh powder almost every day and I will never forget this lovely little storybook town in Switzerland!
